Then today I got my grades in for those two finals. I got an 80 on my History of Art final, so that kept my total grade at 83.3%. As for my Age of Dinosaurs final, I pulled through with 84.7%, which kept my total grade in B-range with a 82.1%. All that time with my dinosaur note cards paid off.
I also sold my 4 textbooks back today at Varney's, making a nice $82. Granted, I paid WAY more than that, but still, it's $82 I didn't have before today...
While I might never use what I learned in Age of Dinosaurs ever again, I think I had a successful semester. After all, I did learn to do my own laundry, as well as how to make an awesome looking resume. Next semester I'm looking forward to trying to be more involved on campus and within leadership positions. The RA interviews are at the end of January, so I'm looking forward to that, because I really want to get through it and know whether or not I get the job. But other than that stuff, I'm free of education until about mid-January...
In other news... Today was my 19th birthday! I wasn't really planning to have a big day, but whatever. Being lazy around the house is one thing I can enjoy. Of course, I have received the barrage of Facebook "Happy Birthdays" and the like. But 19 really isn't that great. It's no milestone, other than the fact that this is the last year I can call myself a teenager. After this year, it's over. Sigh. But whatever. I did have one really awesome thing happen today. Check out my gift:
Yep. Next weekend my parents are taking me to see Jeff Dunham!! I'm super excited! I want to go out and get that Achmed shirt from Hastings now so I can get it signed or something... I'm pretty much wanted to bypass Christmas right now and go straight to next Saturday, 8p.m.
Congrats, and happy birthday!!
