So I was pretty bored after work yesterday, so I sent mass text to people expressing my boredom. Megan then invited me to the mall so I went and hung out there for a while, and spent money, as per usual... Then we hit Hobby Lobby and Hastings before calling it a night. It felt late since it was so dark, but it was only like, 7 p.m. or 8 p.m. So then I went back to being bored at the dorms for a couple hours, and then Mike came into the room to see what I was up to. We spent like, half an hour trying to figure out what to do, most ideas involving going outside, but we didn't want the cold so they were pretty much rejects. Then after a short shenanigan involving a hot glue gun and a phone book, we decided to watch Evolution, a cool alien movie, and invited Scott to join us. During said movie, Mike made some popcorn. The first bag was a success, the second went okay. But in the second bag, not all the kernels had popped, so Mike decided to put those pieces back in the microwave and began popping them. Unfortunately, they began to burn, and Mike, without thinking, opened the microwave, which happens to be positioned right below fire alarm... and of course, it went off. Now, we were told at the beginning of the year, if your alarm goes off due to burning popcorn, DO NOT OPEN YOUR DOOR. Otherwise, the alarms for the entire building would go off. And it was like, midnight, too, so I'm sure everyone was pleased with us, while we sat in Mike's room for about 10 minutes with the alarm on, waiting for Zac to come and get it shut down. Anyway, as soon as that finished up, we went right back to the movie. Eventually I fell asleep and woke up when the credits started, so I must not've been too out.
Anyway, now I'm sitting at home watching some movie, Miracle Dogs Too, I think it's called. It's totally cheddar. And by that, I mean cheesy. Some scenes the acting is horrible, and the way they film is weird at times, too. And yet... we can't stop watching it... It's weird how bad movies pull you in...
As for tonight's forecast, I predict partly homework with a high probability of art well into the night. Hopefully it'll clear up by tomorrow.
