So I'm finally back after several hours in the car.
This morning we went our to a park with the dogs. It was a huge open field and it was awesome. It was also a bit chilly after a while. And then on the way back from the park, we were caught up in traffic. What was going on? We weren't sure. We had seen hundreds of people gathering for something. And y'know what? Turns out Obama was in town, and we were stuck in traffic so his motorcade could go through. Kinda neat, I guess. But it delayed us by about half an hour or so...
Other than that it was just a long road trip home. It was a very windy day, I must say. The weather was fantastic this weekend up until today.
Unfortunately when I got back, still had to go in to work, which took about an hour. Oh well.
I guess to recap, I really had a good weekend. I love the architecture in Denver, and I wish we could've spent just a day walking around taking photos of some of the buildings. They wouldn't have looked as good from car photos as we drove past them. But then while I love the buildings, it's not a place I would ever want to live. Too much traffic, and uncomfortable nightlife. Probably pretty similar to New York City. I would love to go there, too, but wouldn't want to call it home.
