Mmm, me likey Jamba Juice, me likey Jamba Juice, ME LIKEY JAMBA JUICE!
It's very tasty.
Anyway, after last post, we took the dogs to the park that I had actually run around earlier this morning. It was fun and I got some cool photos while we were there. And everyone loves little Fletcher (previously known as Tate(r)). It was weird.
After the park we drove out to towards the mountains, but not actually to them. Close enough to check 'em out, but not actually driving up. Then we came back to the hotel and relaxed. And I hungered. First I munched on leftover chips from Jimmy Johns that we had for lunch, then on some caramel apple from earlier as well. We watched School of Rock on TBS and when that finished, my Dad and I went out to pick up food. Wandering the street was kind of weird. Most of the area was basically pedestrian and the occasional bike cart or horse-drawn carriage. People sat on curbs playing for money, or asking for help for the homeless. Definitely a different environment than Manhattan.
But eventually we bought tacos at Taco Bell and some also some Jamba Juice. Mmm, delicious!!
We also concluded tonight that we are probably the odd family staying in the expensive Hotel Monaco. While others are walking around in suits and dresses, buying food from the expensive downstairs restaurant, we are in less formal clothes, myself in my K-State shorts and hoodie, and we came walking in with a Taco Bell bag...
Hell, earlier I came in as half a gorilla.
We are very high class.
