Virginia Beach Half-Marathon: COMPLETED!

It took me 1 hour, 42 minutes, and 31 seconds to run the 13.1 miles. It was fun, lots of people. The bands weren't as great as I thought, not because their music wasn't good, but you didn't get a chance to enjoy it very long as you ran, and then you'd end up on a stretch of a couple miles where there wouldn't really be any band, so it was more often than not rather quiet, except for cheering spectators.

After the race, my parents and I went and had breakfast, then went to the beach. Lounged in the sand, then jumped around in the waves, then lounged again. The second time was worse. I would've preferred to go back into the hotel after swimming, but we stayed out longer and now i have a sunburn. It hurts. :(

Now after napping on the floor of the hotel room again, we need to head out in a while for the B-52s concert tonight, to wrap up our weekend. Then tomorrow it'll be more fun airplane adventures to get home. Strangely I miss the comfort of my dorm...
