College

I really need to try and post more often, since I haven't added anything since like, the last school year. But now here I am, in my new dorm room, the night before classes start here at KSU. 

There was a BBQ and a dance today (the dance is still going on, I think) to welcome everyone to the dorms. I went to the BBQ but not feeling very social I didn't talk to anyone except my RA and my roommate. He's out at the dance now, but still, I'm not feeling very social. I plan on trying to be more involved in meeting people tomorrow in some of my classes. 

My schedule doesn't seem so bad, on paper, at least. Tomorrow is:

9:30 - 10:20

History of Dinosaurs

11:30 - 12:20

English, or writing or whatever...

12:30 - 1:45

Art Lecture

3:30 - 4:20

Art Seminar

Then on other days I have an Art studio time and a Leadership studies course. Whatever. 

Anyway, dorm is okay. Simple, nice. Cold though... But I has a comfy chair and it's nice to have a firm mattress rather than my stupid waterbed back at home. But I can almost predict the Freshman 15 coming on, thanks to licorice at my desk side.

Oh oh oh. Best thing about college campus: Wireless internet. Anywhere. ANYWHERE!
