I've been busy playing Super Smash Bros. Brawl since Sunday morning. Did you know that Wal-Mart is practically a ghost town at 8a.m. on Sundays? Yeah, well, no real suprise there. And there were some college guys playing football in the parking lot, which I thought was pretty funny...
[Possibly a spoiler or two ahead, if you care about knowing about that kind of stuff.]
Anywho, Brawl is awesome! It's well worth waiting thru all those delays, but I'm seriously glad that's over. My next wait is for Mario Kart Wii. But back to Brawl. Graphics are stunning, anyone who plays this is likely to find at least one character to love. I found two: Pit and Lucario. (And if you havn't heard that Lucario is in Brawl, then too bad - Now you know.)
Some people I know aren't too fond of the adventure mode: Subspace Emissary, but I think it's pretty fun, 'cept for the final battle against Tabuu. It's a real challenge, at least until you learn his attack patterns and how to avoid them. Otherwise you're just getting pummeled... But other than that, Subspace Emissary is epic, with great cut-scenes, and it brings the characters together in... I want to say a unique way, but I've heard people compare it to Kingdom Hearts in a way, and they're right, when you think about it. I still spent my entire Sunday working through it, though.
I havn't had much experience with Wi-Fi yet, due to some, eh, "technical issues," but I have battled against one person, and observed a match as well. Once I can get everything straightened out, I look forward to Wi-Fi battles. Those that I did observe and experience were really good, and didn't have too much lag, so that's good. I just have a crappy connection.
What else? There's so much to talk about. I guess I'll finish up with Stage Builder, which is pretty sweet, too. I've only made one stage, but I like it, and it functions pretty well. You get pieces, and backgrounds, and you can use music you've collected. I'm fond of, what's it called... Flatzone 2, I think. It's a cool beat.
I definitly give Super Smash Bros. Brawl a 10/10. A must buy for any Wii owner who calls themselves a Nintendo fanboy (or girl).
Well, I gotta go chow down before my food gets cold. I'll try and update whenever my life is just short of "Mostly Boring" and maybe with a little higher "Chance of Random."
